The Ladakhi Children’s Schooling Project was organized in August, 2007 to provide educational resource scholarships: tuition, fees, housing and meals, books and supplies for village children from subsistence farming families in rural Ladakh, India. Since then the project has been expanded to include older students in India, Laos,
and Turkey and trainer development for a women’s self-empowerment initiative in Uttar Pradesh, India.
Student fees for a child for one year are approximately $800 US or $80 monthly for ten months.
No administrative fees are paid from contributions to the LCSPI Project. All administrative costs are covered by board members.
